Starting your day without coffee: Murray’s best nutritional tea locations

Ava Munsey

Do you ever need caffeine, but are tired of drinking coffee every single morning? I definitely get tired of the same coffee every day and an energy-filled tea is just the solution! Murray, Kentucky has three nutritional drink places that have just what you need to start your day or afternoon off right! They offer energy drinks that are equivalent to one and one-half cups of coffee, guaranteed to keep you energized throughout the day. All three offer an array of flavors to choose from! For more information about each business, check out their Facebook pages.

Murray Nutrition is located at 506 N 12th Street Suite D. With friendly staff greeting you as soon as you walk in the door, they help you find the perfect drink for you! They offer loaded teas, protein shakes, and most recently, coffee. They have a rewards program and offer $1 off at your first visit. The environment is perfect both as a workspace for students and  a place to hang out with friends. A personal favorite beverage from here is the All Night Longer tea with grape, cherry, and raspberry flavors. Murray Nutrition’s hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Saturday hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and they are open Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m..

Dr. Marcie Hinton

Public relations scholar and professor, Dr. Marcie Hinton ponders the intersection of writing and action. From grassroots communication efforts to a student discovering the power of the written word, she lives to sort out the wreckage at that intersection. In the classroom, she uses writing exercises and case studies to make her points, but her favorite thing to do is take students to places like London to compare British mass media models to American counterparts. While in London, she takes students on Harry Potter’s journey from books and movies to theme parks and merchandising. Her scholarship and professional service is a mix of grassroots public relations, Martha Gellhorn’s war-torn travel writing and promoting the arts. She reads magazines, books and cookbooks, but takes special interest in travel essays and pasta recipes.

Her latest work is in the form of a case studies book called "Applied Public Relations: Cases in Stakeholder Management," which she co-authored with Dr. Kathy Brittain Richardson.
