What is Precipice?

Precipice…

College students are adept at standing on the brink—poised to fly or fall, but taking the leap nonetheless. This portal strives to equip students with those wings to fly. A classroom experiment in micro influencing, Dr. Marcie Hinton coordinates this site with student work from across classes such as public relations content creation, news editing, travel writing and various study abroad courses from around the world.

The students are mostly Murray State University journalism and mass communication students, but some of Dr. Hinton’s study abroad courses contain students from all over the country. Those travel courses are coordinated by Murray State University Office of Education Abroad, as well as the Cooperative Center for Study Abroad (CCSA).
